Previews Galore - posted by Warlock @ 16:54

Go to top

There has been posted some new previews and hands-on experiences of Severance, Blade of Darkness around the web. Here's the ones I'm aware of:

GamesDomain Review has posted a very positive first hand experience, while SharkyGames has a brief look at it in their top 10 games to look out for this season (unfortunately though, Severance won't be out before February it seems). Spanish gamingsite Gamesreview has a new preview up and so does terra, which also has several new screenshots of the game.

I will leave you with a brief quote from GamesDomain's preview:

What most impresses about the game is the way it feels. Even with this early-ish build, the game is a wonderful testament to the Madrid-based developers who created it. The control system, unlike many third-person games, is a joy. The graphics are superb, and there is a wonderful balance of arcade and RPG.

Well, the gaming media is once again picking up on Blade/Severance, we all know how the Christmas season influence sales of computer games...it's a damn shame that Codemasters have decided to push OUR game to February! Now what the heck is up with that?

To be honest... I don't even wanna talk about it! I'm sick and pissed off about it! And this is the first time in a year and a few months that I feel réálly fucked up!
Maybe they even push the demo further away cuz Juan is saying that the demo will be released in the year 2000! so maybe not the last week of THIS MONTH!
}:-(
(I wrote this already 2 minutes ago but I hit the Reset button in stead of the Submit button... that was almost suicide)

Well - I guess it won't help to stay pissed, although it's good to "get it out". Hopefully, this means that the game will be 100% stable and with decent mp-support and maybe even the level editor in the box?

It's just so hard to keep on waiting....so if possible, I sincerly hope that Codemasters will release the demo by the end of this month as we've been told.

I'm calmed down already now... but I still find it terrible. You're right, Warlock, the game will be very stable... but they better release a collectors edition too! If the demo is released... than I'm very happy already... but it has to be released the last week of this month!!!!
