New Screenshots - posted by Warlock @ 21:50
| GameSpy have posted 6 exclusive screenshots of Severance: Blade of darkness. Included is an awsome render of the four characters...you'll just have to see it! (thanks Bluesnews)
I've also put up a copy of the pressrelease Codemasters released earlier today.
Personally, the fact that Codemasters will publish Severance, rocks my world! I love'em, and I am ABSOULUTLY sure that they will do a heck of a job with our baby!

Codemasters to publish Severance - posted by Warlock @ 15:01
| Yes, it's official! Codemasters has secured the deal to publish Severance: The Blade of Darkness. If you are wondering what the hell I'm talking about, the fact is that the game, previously known as Blade: The Edge of Darkness, has been renamed to Severance for the world-wide distribution by Codemasters.

Publisher and Demo news! - posted by Warlock @ 10:14
| According to a post made by Juan at the official forums, a deal with a new world-wide publisher has now been signed and that the name of new publisher will be revealed very soon (possibly this week).
The game will be high priority in the new publisher's portfolio and they will bring a demo of the game consisting of two levels and two playercharacters (Knight and Barbarian) to the ECTS in London the first week of September.
If everything goes as planned, a playable demo will be released thru magazines in October. This demo will most likely include one level and one playercharacter (knight).
Juan also mention that they predict the game to be launched in November and that (hopefully) they will have the new official website up by this week.
Seems like we're on a verge of some great happenings here! |

New Exclusive Screenshots - posted by Warlock @ 20:36
| I'm sorry for the lack of my appearance here at Blade Universe lately, but I've been pretty tied up with some more important stuff. To try and make up for this, I hand you 5 completely new and exclusive screenshots of the game that really is worth waiting for!
Good news is that a playable demo will be out very soon, and so is a new official Blade webpage I've heard. International marketing is right around the cornor and all of this will hopefully make up for the quiet period we've been going through these days.
Fear not though, you're not forgotten! Me and Dr.Haggard is still doing our very best in serving you the best and latest Blade: The Edge of Darkness news! |

New Blade Preview - posted by Dr.Haggard @ 22:18
| German online gaming magazine Zocks have put up an interesting and comprehensive preview of Blade (Babel Fish translation here). Describing the game as being in 'direct competition with Rune', the article outlines the features of the 3D engine, covers the background story of the game and goes on to discuss weapons, characters, enemies etc. It's a nice preview, and is accompanied by a few choice screenshots (though none new). |
